The wines and spirits that are written up here have all been either tasted at a trade tasting, at my day job, or have been purchased by me. Being based in London I only provide a list of UK shops, however the link to Wine-Searcher should help you to locate a particular wine should you live outside of the UK.
Next to each of the wine notes, the more observant may notice a little symbol. This relates to Biodynamic theories – more details here – and how the moon and constellations affect wines. The best days to taste wines are fruit and flower. Root and leaf days are bad days to taste wine. The symbol shows what type of day it was when I tasted the wine. This is purely given as additional information, and a bit of fun!
Root Day Leaf Day Flower Day Fruit Day
Root Day – Very Bad Leaf Day – Bad Flower Day – Good Fruit Day – Very Good
